This family-friendly event brings history to life in the heart of town.
Event Schedule:
4:00 PM — Opening Ceremony
The Town Crier kicks off the festivities, followed by a reading of the Declaration of Independence. Free!
4:00–6:00 PM — Living History
Fascinating historical presentations, pioneer games and crafts, period re-enactors, and a musket firing demonstration. Free!
5:15 PM — Walking Tour
Visit John Hart’s Monument and the Old School Baptist Meeting House to learn more about this Hopewell resident and signer of the Declaration of Independence. Free!
6:00-8:00 PM — Community Dinner
Buffet pig roast and seasonal sides by Brick Farm Tavern (gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options available). Ticket required, just $2.50 per person.
6:30–10:00 PM — Live Music
Local favorite Castle Lane and dancing under the stars. Free!
6:00–10:00 PM — Beer Garden (21+)
